Written at home, Chroma showcases Lindenbaum Modular's meticulous production techniques and talent for composition on a whole new scale, without sacrificing his usual live-and-improvised style. The EP is a conversation between Toby and his modular synth, transcribed, edited and embellished with guitar, keyboards and more.

On Chroma, the inspiration Toby draws from the natural world is apparent - it is present not only in his immersive and textural sound design, but also in his emotive melodies, which evoke fantastical landscapes and environments. The story that Toby creates on the record is gripping and transportive - Chroma traverses the whole spectrum.
